What's New?
Configurable Evidence Capture Methods
As of this release, it is now possible to configure a company specific list of Evidence Capture Methods (ECMs), to be used in Assessments. When updating your list, you can opt to provide mappings from old ECMs, to new ones, meaning that the old data will be updated, or we can simply archive unwanted ECMs from your available list, and add any new ones you need.
Please note: until the Evidence Capture Method related changes have been implemented on mobile, any changes you make to your list will not be available during Assessments on mobile.

Optional Feature: Automated Skill Updates
Last year, we implemented the Skill Suggestions feature, allowing you to link a Competency Criteria to a Skill, so that, when that Competency Criteria is rated in an Assessment, EDS will suggest that the Skill Competency is awarded, renewed, or revoked for the employee, depending on the proficiency rating of the linked Criteria.
If this new optional feature is enabled for your company, then these Skill Suggestions are replaced with automated Skill updates, which will be applied once the Assessment is fully completed. The rules of the automated updates remain the same as the suggestions:
- If the linked Criteria is rated above 'Major Improvement Required', then the update would be to award or renew the Skill.
- If the linked Criteria is rated 'Major Improvement Required', then the update would be to revoke the Skill.
The automated approach is better for standardisation, as it removes the risk of Assessors forgetting to follow-up on the suggested action. However, we have kept this as an optional feature, as some companies may want to keep these decisions in the hands of their Assessors, meaning that the Skill Suggestions would be the correct approach.

Training & Development Updates
The Bulk Assign feature has been updated to include Employee References alongside the employees' names, to assist with cases of duplicate names.
Verifiers & Admins will now have the ability to delete Training Courses assigned to employees, allowing you to tidy up anything which is incorrect without the need to contact the Support Team.
Bug Fixes
Bug: Key Dates Grid items with the same start date not ordered.
Fix: Assessments which are generated from a Competency Cycle and have the same start date, will be sorted as per the Competency Cycle ordering.
Bug: Key Dates Grid Start Month Always January.
Fix: The Key Dates Grid should now display with the earliest start month of an individual's Competency Cycles.
Bug: Line Manager selection contains users of all system roles.
Fix: The Drop-down now only includes users with System Roles of 'Manager' and above.
Bug: Tasks tab not always showing in the Completed Assessment page when there are tasks associated with the Assessment.
Fix: This has been fixed.
Bug: Multiple signatures could be input for a single Assessment on the web.
Fix: This has been fixed.
Bug: Key Dates Grid tooltips displaying off the page for short interactions at the end of the Cycle.
Fix: All tooltips should now fully display inside the page.
Bug: Key Dates Grid tooltips mention signatures when the Assessment Type does not require signatures.
Fix: This has been fixed.
