Training & Development updates - Manager & Employee Permissions
As of this release, a read-only version of the following Training & Development pages will be available to users with the Manager system role:
- Training & Development Dashboard Statistics
- Overview
- Manage Candidates
- User Training Summary
- User Training Detail
Users with the Employee system role will also be able to see a read-only version of their own Training via the following pages:
- User Training Summary
- User Training Detail
Training & Development updates - Page & Table Changes
For now, we have taken the decision to remove the statistics groups from the User Training Summary page.
We have also made some changes to the data displayed in the Training & Development tables and provided by the exports.
On the User Training Summary page, the table has been updated to display the following fields:
- Training Type
- Training Course
- This will include a combination of the Course No. and the Training Name
- This will also be used as the link to open the Training Detail page
- Duration
- End Date
- Valid From
- Renewal Due
- Status
The table on the Team Training Overview page has been updated to display the following fields:
- Employee Name
- Training Course
- This will include a combination of the Course No. and the Training Name
- This will also be used as the link to open the Training Detail page
- Skills Attained
- This will include a combination of the Skill Code and Skill Name
- End Date
- Valid From
- Renewal Due
- Status
The table on the Team Manage Candidates Training page has been updated to display the following fields:
- Employee Name
- Company Role(s)
- Team(s)
- Training Course
- This will include a combination of the Course No. and the Training Name
- This will also be used as the link to open the Training Detail page
- End Date
- Valid From
- Renewal Due
- Status
Bug Fixes
Bug: Training course Valid From Date is set to Training End Date + 1 day. This is being done both for Training courses which do not require validation, and set as a pre-fill for Training courses which do require validation.
Fix: This has been updated so that Valid From Date will be set to the Training End Date.
Bug: Team filter on the Training & Development Overview page includes teams which are not owned by the logged in user, and is not sorted correctly.
Fix: This has been fixed.
Bug: Table on the Training & Development Manage Candidates page includes users from Departments which the logged in user does not have access to.
Fix: This has been fixed.
