v3.32.0 Release Highlights
This release includes:
- Incidents & Support Plans changes
What's New?
Incidents & Support Plans Landing Page
The Incidents & Support Plans landing page has been updated to a newer user interface, including some additional data in the tables, and the ability to filter and sort the tables. You will also notice that the items in the tables are grouped by Responsibility Level on the Incidents side, and by Status on the Support Plans side.
Incidents Updates Overview
The page for creating and editing Incidents has been updated to a newer design and includes some new features:
- Addition of new fields:
- Incident Title
- Company Role
- Employee's Line Manager
- Actions Taken replacing Events
- Additional options when saving
Incident Actions
When creating and editing Incidents, the Event Details will still be included on any Incidents which currently have some Event Details populated, but all other existing Incidents and all new Incidents will now include an 'Actions Taken' section instead.
This new section includes the 'Actions Taken' drop-down to select a number of Actions for the Incident, and a Further Information field for entering some details to supplement the selected Actions. The options in the 'Actions Taken' drop-down are created and managed by your Admins, which means that you should have a standardised list of Actions to choose from which are relevant to your company's business processes.
A new Admin management page has been created which allows your Admin users to create, edit, enable, and disable Incident Actions for your company.
Incidents - Save Options
When saving an Incident, you will now have 3 options:
- Save & Close, to simply return to the Incidents & Support Plans landing page once the Incident has been saved
- Save & Link to Support Plan, to link this Incident to a new or existing Support Plan
- Save & Create Post Incident Assessment, to open the ad-hoc assessment creation page once the Incident has been saved
If the employee already has one or more existing Support Plans which aren't Complete or Archived, when you use the 'Save & Link to Support Plan' button, you will be given the option of creating a new Support Plan, or selecting an existing Support Plan to edit.
Support Plans Updates Overview
Support Plans have been updated to a newer design and include some changes to existing functionality and new features:
- Addition of new fields:
- Support Plan Title
- Employee's Line Manager
- Reasons for Support Level change
- Ability to save as a draft
- Changes to the Start and Completion processes
- Support Plan Assessments are automatically created
- Ability to provide some detail of how an objective has been met
- Ability to add notes to an Interaction
- Ability to add documentation and notes from the view page
Support Plans - Save As Draft
Support Plans can now be saved as a draft, allowing you to take your time over the Support Plan and make sure that you get it right.
Use the 'Save as Draft' button to save the Support Plan and stay on the create/edit page.
Use the 'Save & Close' button to save the Support Plan and go back to the Incidents & Support Plans landing page.
Support Plans - Start & Complete Process Changes
Once you have filled out all the required details for a Support Plan, when you click the 'Start Support Plan' button then the Support Plan will instantly move to an Active state, even if it requires Employee Signatures and/or Manager Acknowledgement. This will mean that your Support Plans will no longer get stuck in a holding state while waiting for acknowledgements.
When you're ready to complete your Support Plan, a similar process will be followed. Click the 'Complete Support Plan' button and the Support Plan will instantly move into a Complete state.
Support Plans - Support Plan Assessments
When adding Interactions to your Support Plan, if you select "Assessment" as the Interaction Type, then you will no longer be required to set-up the assessment when you start the Support Plan, as EDS will automatically create the Assessment with some standardised defaults.
Support Plans - How has this Aim/Objective been met
On the view page of a Support Plan, you now have the option to input some notes to show how an Aim/Objective was met.
Support Plans - Support Plan Interactions
If you have added an Interaction to your Support Plan that isn't an Assessment, then you will now have the ability to add notes to the Interaction when you provide a completion date for the Interaction. Clicking the Interaction Title in the Scheduled Interactions table will open the Support Plan Interaction modal where you can input these details.
Bug Fixes
This release does not include any client raised bug fixes.
